We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team at HIGH QUALITY DAILY FRESH PRODUCE LTD. As a key member of our farm operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm workers and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality crops.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial and production records to ensure optimal crop yields and minimize costs.
- Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting to ensure the health and quality of our crops.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain quality control and production records to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations to ensure optimal crop yields and minimize waste.
- Hire and train staff to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure optimal crop yields and minimize downtime.
- Perform general farm duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of our farm.
Our farm is located in a rural area and operates in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work outdoors in a dusty, hot, and noisy environment with exposure to odours. You will also be required to work in a physically demanding environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
