Job Title: Personal Support Worker

At RT Medical, we're committed to providing exceptional care services to support our patients and customers in their health and wellness needs. As a Personal Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Accompany clients on outings and exercise activities
  • Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping duties
  • Provide respite care to clients while their primary caregivers are away
  • Remind clients to take their medication
  • Transport clients to appointments and shopping
  • Participate in the client's total care program
  • Perform delegated tasks within your scope of practice
Requirements:
  • Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized program
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 50lbs (23kg) independently and assist clients with mobility
  • Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification
  • Updated immunization records and a clear criminal background check
