As a Rehabilitation Service Specialist (RSS), you will be an integral member of a dedicated team focused on delivering a comprehensive range of rehabilitation services to veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces and their families. Our organization is devoted to positively influencing the lives of these individuals through supportive care and recognition.

In your role within Lifemark's Rehabilitation Services and Vocational Assistance Program (RSVP), you will act as the primary liaison for program Participants. Your responsibilities will include fostering trust, building rapport, and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders to create thorough rehabilitation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the rehabilitation needs of Participants
  • Craft tailored Rehabilitation Plans
  • Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of professionals
  • Empower Participants to navigate challenges
  • Identify and mitigate risk factors that may impact outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • At least 1 year of experience in rehabilitation services
  • Experience supporting individuals with health-related challenges
  • Ability to obtain federal security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual capabilities
  • Familiarity with community resources and educational institutions
  • Preference for candidates with a background in the CAF
