Clinical Therapist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Therapist to join our team at Kinark Child and Family Services. As a Clinical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic services to children, youth, and families in a mental health setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop treatment plans to address the mental health needs of clients.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to promote emotional well-being and resilience.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and community partners to ensure effective service delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of mental health and child development.
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Social Work or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) or the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
- Excellent clinical assessment, formulation, and treatment planning skills.
- Experience working with children, youth, and families in a mental health setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Training and/or experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
- Experience working with diverse cultures and populations.
- Computer competency and proficiency in electronic health records.
