- Process required profile changes, such as sick leave, vacation, and hourly rate adjustments, in compliance with Employment Standards Acts, Union Agreements, and Company Policies.
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of over 400 Union Agreements, ensuring accurate application and interpretation.
- Perform other tasks as assigned, contributing to the efficient operation of the payroll department.
Required Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in a related field or willingness to enroll in payroll courses, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
- A minimum of one year general office experience, preferably within a payroll environment, showcasing adaptability and a strong work ethic.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Must be highly motivated, with the ability to manage a large volume of work and meet strict deadlines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, ensuring seamless workflow and efficient productivity.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of internal and external customers, fostering strong relationships and resolving issues effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work with highly confidential information, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies.
- Must be detail-oriented, with a high degree of accuracy, ensuring the integrity of payroll data and processes.
- Ability to work flexible hours when required, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to meeting business needs.
