About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and inspire a team of dedicated landscapers at Park Landscaping Ltd.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of completing construction projects on time and within budget, and will be able to lead and manage a team, problem-solve, and make decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 3-6 crews, each with a Foreman, Lead Hand, and Labourers, to ensure the successful completion of landscape construction projects.
  • Review estimator/designer handoffs for project scope and ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are ordered and scheduled for delivery.
  • Schedule and dispatch crews and equipment while coordinating with clients to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Arrange for subcontractors and vendors as needed, and approve crew time and vendor invoices.
  • Send customer invoices and collect accounts receivable.
  • Provide regular feedback regarding man-hour budgets to the Crew Leaders and train, coach, and mentor field staff.
  • Review job costs to celebrate successes and gain insights to improve.
Requirements
  • 2 years of project management experience in the landscaping industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of standard methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in landscape construction and maintenance.
  • Proven track record of completing construction projects on time and within budget.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team, problem-solve, and make decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Alberta Class 5 Driver's License, Clean Abstract.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Design/Build Landscaping Experience.
  • Landscaping/Horticulture Knowledge and Experience.
  • Aspire Field Service Management Software Experience.
  • Site Docs Experience is an asset.
  • Experience in AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Dynascape software is an asset.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends if necessary.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
