Project Manager Equipment

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our Equipment team in the development of HVAC-R solutions and equipment for the Naval industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from design to delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, and quality goals are met.
  • Coordinate with the Director and other functional departments to ensure resource allocation and project success.
  • Lead a team of engineers and designers to meet on-time deliverables and project milestones.
  • Collaborate with the Equipment team to identify project requirements, coordinate design and calculation reviews, and oversee the development, fabrication, and testing of equipment and prototypes.
  • Monitor progress, delivery milestones, schedule, and cost control, performing gate reviews and managing risks and opportunities.
  • Perform project KPIs and coordinate supplier deliverables with project timelines to ensure quality.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with the customer, maintaining open communication and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in equipment design or HVAC system design.
  • Good knowledge of project finance and cost control.
  • PMP certification (an asset).
  • Excellent 2D and 3D design skills, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks.
  • Bilingual English and French.
  • No criminal record and ability to meet security clearance requirements.
