Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Ensure efficient loading and unloading of goods, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Operate and Drive Trucks: Safely operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Emergency Roadside Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs to ensure minimal downtime and maintain schedule integrity.
  • Pre-Trip, En Route, and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Handling: Safely handle and transport dangerous goods, adhering to relevant regulations and protocols.
Requirements
  • Air Brakes Endorsement: Possess a valid Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Driver's License: Hold a valid Class 1 or A Driver's License.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically capable of handling heavy loads and working in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

As a Truck Driver with MYT Trucking Ltd, you will work on the road, with regular overnight stays. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The typical workweek is 40 to 50 hours.
