Job Summary:

The Chiropractic Assistant will provide administrative and clinical support to our chiropractors, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. This role involves a variety of tasks, including preparing patients for treatments, maintaining equipment, and assisting with patient health education.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for chiropractic treatments by positioning them correctly and ensuring they are comfortable and secure.
  • Maintain and clean equipment, including chiropractic tables and machines, to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Assist chiropractors with patient health education, including explaining treatment plans and providing guidance on exercises and stretches.
  • Connect treatment machines to patients, as directed by the chiropractor, and ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Assist chiropractors with physical examinations, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for exams.
  • Perform other administrative tasks, such as answering phones and responding to patient inquiries.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.

This role is based in our office of health care professionals, where you will work closely with our chiropractors and other healthcare staff to provide exceptional patient care.
