Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Taylor Ford. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, as well as repairing or replacing mechanical units or components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components as needed
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service to ensure vehicles are running efficiently
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
