Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Meat Processing Specialist to join our team at Pukka Restaurant. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and presentation of our meat products.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school education is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience ranging from 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role is preferred.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a vibrant setting, primarily within a large restaurant and hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare meats for processing by cleaning and sanitizing.
  • Skillfully cut carcasses, sides, and quarters to meet quality standards.
  • Trim and prepare standard cuts of meat, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Wrap and package meats for storage and presentation.
  • Remove bones from various meat types with precision.
  • Cut poultry into appropriate parts for culinary use.
  • Clean and prepare fish and shellfish for menu offerings.
  • Grind meats as required for specific dishes.
  • Assist in training new meat cutters to uphold our standards.
