We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our Home Care programs at Carefor Health & Community Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and implementing our home care services, including nursing, allied health, and personal support services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans for home care services, in collaboration with the leadership team.
- Lead quality management initiatives to ensure continuous improvement and cost effectiveness.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and partner agencies to identify community needs and develop new programs and services.
- Manage and evaluate home care programs, analyzing statistics and research to inform decision-making.
- Supervise and develop program managers and staff, providing coaching and feedback to ensure high performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, or related field; Master's degree a strong asset.
- Registration with good standing as a registered professional in one of Ontario's Colleges representing the profession, or equivalent experience.
- LEAN Healthcare Management certification a strong asset.
- Minimum of 10 years direct work experience in a management position of progressive responsibilities.
- Experience in arranging and working with community services and/or home health care delivery.
- Demonstrated experience managing external relationships, including contract management, negotiations, financial management, conflict resolution, and stakeholder relations.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of community and home health care policies, standards, contracts, and partnerships.
- Sound problem-solving, analytical thinking, planning, and execution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet tight deadlines, and work well under pressure.
- Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Developed computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience creating and managing budgets for medium to large organizations.
- Experience leading within a unionized environment.
- Bilingualism (French/English) an asset.
Regular office environment with some flexibility for remote work. Travel to various Carefor locations will be required.
