About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at B.M.S IT solutions. As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Dust and Vacuum: Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy space.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items to ensure they are properly accounted for.
  • Customer Service: Provide basic information on facilities and address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Specialized Tasks: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to ensure a clean and well-maintained facility.
Requirements
  • Criminal Record Check: A criminal record check is required for this position.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure is essential.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
  • Equipment and Tools: Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary equipment will be provided.
  • Team Player: A team player with excellent communication skills is required to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Experience: Experience in a similar role is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, with a regular schedule.
