Job Summary

JobCart Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to load and unload materials and products in our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts to transport materials and products within the warehouse
  • Ensure accurate documentation of materials and product movement, including inventory tracking and cycle counting
  • Inspect and maintain forklift equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines for forklift operation, including regular safety checks and maintenance
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient material handling
  • Assist with inventory control and cycle count activities to ensure accurate inventory levels

Requirements

  • Valid forklift operator certification
  • Prior experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center environment
  • Ability to operate various types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks
  • Knowledge of forklift safety procedures and practices, including regular safety checks and maintenance
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and product placement
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
