We currently have a full-time position available for a Senior Data Solution Analyst. This role can be based out of one of our primary offices.
Your Focus Areas:As a Senior Data Solution Analyst at Jace Holdings Ltd., you will:
- Implement Data Governance and enhance Data Quality initiatives.
- Identify and categorize Data Assets in collaboration with our Business partners.
- Facilitate workshops to identify and onboard Data Owners, Data Stewards, and Technical Custodians.
- Establish necessary data asset quality standards in partnership with business teams.
- Assist business teams in defining new processes or updating existing ones to maintain the integrity of their data assets.
- Support the cataloging of data assets within functional domains, ensuring accurate classifications.
- Collaborate with Data Quality engineers to develop data quality dashboards for monitoring data quality issues and improvement efforts.
- Help define data quality rules and policies related to Domain data assets.
- Possess business functional knowledge to manage governance activities concerning data assets.
- Assist in investigating Data Quality root causes and implementing remediation strategies.
- Engage and direct Data Governance and Data Engineering for necessary tasks.
- Identify business owners to execute data correction activities; collaborate with relevant business teams that may need to revise their processes to address data quality issues.
- Coordinate with IT Product owners if data cleansing tasks require their involvement.
- Communicate the approach, dependencies, risks, and progress of data-related tasks.
- Support business data owners and stewards in Data Governance and quality tracking activities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer professional.
- Knowledge of effective data management practices (governance, data quality, data standards).
- Understanding of retail data, including Article, Planogram, customer data, etc., to ensure accurate classifications.
- Ability to collaborate with business teams to comprehend data impacts and establish data standards.
- Ability to work across multiple functional areas simultaneously.
- Capability to design impactful quality metrics and tracking systems.
- Ability to collaborate with business and technology teams to troubleshoot data quality root causes.
- Strong communication skills to engage both business and technical teams.
