Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Editor to join our team at HAYER RECORDS LTD. As an Editor, you will be responsible for evaluating the suitability of material for publication, detecting and correcting errors in spelling, grammar, and syntax, and planning coverage of upcoming events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate material for publication, ensuring it meets our high standards
  • Correct errors in spelling, grammar, and syntax to ensure accuracy and clarity
  • Plan coverage of upcoming events, assigning work to team members as needed
  • Confer with authors, staff writers, and reporters to discuss revisions to copy
  • Plan and coordinate activities of staff to ensure production deadlines are met
  • Write or prepare introductions, marketing materials, and other text as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or related field
  • 2 years of experience in editing or related field
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
Working Conditions
  • 40 hours per week
