Are you a skilled professional eager to advance your career in the construction industry? Hall Constructors is seeking a dedicated Concrete Pumping Specialist.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Operating line pumps and static agitators in tandem.
- Performing equipment fueling and conducting pre-trip and routine maintenance.
- Walking the line, connecting concrete hoses, mixing grout, and priming lines before concrete pumping.
- Guiding concrete trucks to the designated pumping location.
- Collaborating with the Rig Operator and Leadhand to manage the flow of concrete, including starting, stopping, and reversing as necessary.
- Monitoring concrete slump, hose pressures, and pumping times.
- Tracking and documenting strokes for each pile and providing end-of-day feedback on concrete quantities.
- Cleaning equipment at the end of the day and as needed throughout operations.
- Conducting pre-use inspections of equipment and maintaining daily logbooks.
- Familiarizing yourself with the operator's manual for your equipment.
- Ensuring ground conditions are suitable for equipment operation.
- Utilizing a spotter when maneuvering concrete trucks.
- Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintaining a clear and level work area, free from obstructions.
- Seeking guidance from supervisors when uncertain about tasks.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Experience in piling or foundation drilling is advantageous, with CFA experience being a plus.
- CCPO certification is considered an asset.
Technical Proficiencies:
- Ability to operate a pressure washer.
- Knowledge of safe work practices.
- Capability to identify various hazards on-site.
- Understanding of hand signals for spotting concrete trucks and crane operations.
