Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vacuum Truck Driver to join our team at Go Time Energy Services Ltd. As a Vacuum Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our fleet of vacuum trucks, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Vacuum Trucks: Safely operate and maintain our vacuum trucks, ensuring they are in good working condition at all times.
  • Transport Goods and Materials: Transport goods and materials to various locations, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Perform Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and to identify any potential issues.
  • Oversee Vehicle Condition: Regularly inspect the vehicle's tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure the vehicle is running efficiently.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring timely and efficient communication.
  • Record Vehicle Information: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to ensure accurate records.
Requirements
  • Class 3/3F/DF Licence: Possess a valid Class 3/3F/DF licence for operating trailer trucks and vehicles with more than 3 axles.
  • Certifications: Hold a valid CPR Certificate, Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) Certificate, Driver's License (Class 1 or A), Driver's License (Class 3 or D), First Aid Certificate, Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Experience: Have at least 2 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of vacuum truck operations and maintenance.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with dispatch and other team members.
  • Team Player: Be a team player with a strong work ethic, able to work independently and as part of a team.
