POSITION SUMMARY

The Bob Gaglardi School of Business and Economics at Thompson Rivers University is seeking qualified candidates for sessional teaching positions in the following areas:

Courses Available:

  • BLAW 2910 - Commercial Law (2 sections)
  • BLAW 3920 - Employment Law (1 section)

Instruction will be conducted in person, and candidates must be available to teach in the Kamloops area. Classes are typically scheduled during the week, primarily in the evening, making this an ideal opportunity for legal professionals who wish to engage with students interested in pursuing careers in law.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.
  • Active membership with the relevant Law Society.
  • Demonstrated potential for exceptional teaching capabilities.
  • Extensive experience in business law is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in utilizing various instructional technologies is preferred.
