Job Title: Community Health Worker

Join Northern Health Authority as a Community Health Worker and make a difference in the lives of our clients. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide home support services to clients in accordance with a pre-established care plan.

About the Role:
  • Provide home support services to clients, including activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and meal planning.
  • Assist with delegated tasks and promote maximum independence.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the well-being of individuals and families.
  • Develop and maintain rapport with clients and their families.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from a recognized Home Support Attendant/Resident Care Aid Program.
  • Registration with the BC Care Aid & Community Health Worker Registry.
  • Valid Class 5 BC Drivers' License.
  • Certificates in CPR, First Aid, and Food Safe.
  • Use of personal vehicle.
