We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child and Youth Worker to join our team at Anew Centre for Healing Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Child and Youth Worker will provide support and guidance to children and youth in a group home setting, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and youth, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily care and support to children and youth in a group home setting
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child or youth
  • Assess and address the physical, emotional, and social needs of children and youth
  • Provide guidance and support to children and youth in areas such as education, life skills, and personal development
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure comprehensive support for children and youth
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children and youth's progress and well-being
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as child and youth care or social work
  • Experience working with children and youth in a group home setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
