CarePartners is seeking a highly skilled NSWOC Registered Nurse to join our team. As a NSWOC Nurse, you will provide wound and ostomy consultation for patients in the clinic and community.
This is a part-time position in the Beamsville area, offering flexible hours and autonomy over your schedule. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, utilizing your wound and ostomy care knowledge to promote self-management and lead the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide wound and ostomy consultation for patients in the clinic and community
- Utilize your wound and ostomy care knowledge to promote self-management and lead the interdisciplinary team
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices
- Registered Nurse (RN) diploma
- Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing
- Graduate of Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence Canada (NSWOCC, formerly CAET), CNA exam may be pending
- Several years of escalating experience managing wounds and ostomies
- Strong desire and commitment to making a difference in the lives of our patients
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- A valid driver's license and vehicle as regular travel is required
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- CPR Certification
- Current immunization record including 2 step TB test
- To protect our patients, we require a current vulnerable sector check and a clear background check
