Your Role
We are seeking a Senior Specialist in Algorithm Engineering to take ownership of the following duties:
- Investigate mathematical theories, algorithms, and methodologies pertinent to AI, including probability, statistics, multivariate calculus, linear algebra, and graph theory.
- Design innovative neural network structures, loss functions, and algorithms aimed at enhancing AI model performance and efficiency.
- Develop reinforcement learning, evolutionary computation, and nature-inspired algorithms for optimal decision-making processes.
- Create algorithms for AI applications such as natural language processing, forecasting, and optimization.
- Implement solutions, rigorously evaluate outputs, benchmark against leading standards, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Publish research papers detailing the mathematical foundations and characteristics of your innovative algorithms.
- Continuously broaden your knowledge in AI and mathematics to provide cutting-edge algorithmic solutions.

Your Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Over 3 years of experience in developing algorithms for AI and machine learning applications.
- Proficiency in AI mathematical concepts such as probabilistic graphical models, information theory, and heuristic search.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, MATLAB, C/C++, and Java.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- A strong passion for mathematics and artificial intelligence.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex new mathematical techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Published academic research in machine learning or AI conferences and journals.
- Experience in Kaggle competitions demonstrating modeling expertise.
