Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Co-op Student to join our dynamic Transportation Group. As a Co-op Student, you will assist in providing professional services to public and private sector clients, working on various support activities and projects related to transportation infrastructure design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and design of major provincial transit infrastructure and rail projects.
  • Work as part of a team on various support activities, including field and office work.
  • Provide general assistance to project engineers and project managers in our transportation group.

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated individual with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and transportation engineering related software such as AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
  • Driver's license and vehicle required for this position.

Education and Experience

  • Completion of high school and/or enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree/diploma program.

Work Environment

Typical office environment with computer work and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements, including inclement weather.
