We are currently seeking a Senior Guidewire ClaimCenter Configurator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled developer to work on complex applications and develop their environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Development: Design, code, test, and debug complex applications and develop their environments.
  2. Documentation: Appropriately document the code by applying current norms and standards.
  3. Analysis and Problem-Solving: Analyze the code and complex problems pertaining to the logic of existing systems, notify the software analyst, and recommend solutions.
  4. Impact Analysis and Design: Conduct complex impact analyses and take part in software design (segmentation, sequence diagrams, class diagrams).
  5. Effort Assessment and Validation: Take part in effort assessments of complex developments, validate estimates, and communicate discrepancies during the project.
  6. Technical Feasibility and Risk Identification: Validate the technical feasibility of functional files and identify risk areas.
  7. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct complex unit tests (using tools such as JUnit), integrated tests, and functional tests, pursuant to current methodologies and processes.
  8. Continuous Integration and Delivery: Is familiar with and applies continuous integration processes.
  9. Support and Coaching: Acts as coach, supports, and trains object developers as needed.
  10. Peer Review and Support: Is prime candidate for peer reviews and supports the users of the applications to which he is assigned.
Qualifications:

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SDLC methodology
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology (SCRUM)
  • Knowledge of the unified modeling language (UML)
  • Experience in object-oriented programming
  • Experience developing distributed applications
  • Knowledge of SOA
  • Knowledge of at least one relational database management system (RDBMS) and structured query language (SQL)
  • Experience in XML and associated technologies
  • Familiarity with the concept of continuous integration
  • Demonstrated expertise in at least one specialty and knowledge of another one: JAVA JEE, System i, ASP.Net, or in-depth knowledge of an application or software package (Guidewire)
