We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Farm Labourer to join our team at Elmridge Farm Ltd. As a Farm Labourer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including clearing fields of wood and stones, planting, cultivating and irrigating crops, and harvesting crops.
Key Responsibilities:- Clear fields of wood and stones
- Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
- Harvest crops
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market
- Hand harvesting vegetables
- Apply the technique of hoeing between the row
- Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience
- Permanent employment
- 40 to 70 hours per week
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to handle heavy loads
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods
