Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and overhaul of industrial machinery and equipment. This includes detecting and troubleshooting irregularities, fabricating parts, and operating machining tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, detect and troubleshoot irregularities, and repair or replace defective parts.
  • Fabrication: Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up, using machining tools and equipment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate machinery and equipment, including automated and robotic systems, conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, power tools, pumps, and compressors.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and installation of parts.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in industrial maintenance and repair.
  • Certifications: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced industrial environment, with regular exposure to heavy machinery and equipment. The ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and with heavy loads is essential.
