Site Services Supervisor

As a Site Services Supervisor at Douglas College, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the daily operations of the room booking function and site services support
- Administer day-to-day site services activities, develop work procedures, and ensure safe, productive, and efficient Site Services operation
- Analyze and plan site services support, resolve conflicts, and maintain Site Services Operations
- Collaborate with the Manager, Facilities Services to develop effective room bookings and site services work procedures and service standards
- Completion of a two (2) year program in a related field at a recognized post-secondary educational institution
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills, including written and verbal fluency in the English language
- Strong interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to develop, establish, and maintain effective working relationships with administrators, managers, and staff
- Demonstrated team-building skills, proven experience supervising, and knowledge of principles and practices of employee supervision
- Demonstrated office management and supervisory skills and experience
- Demonstrated project management and team-building skills, proven experience in leading teams and task groups
- Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate large events and meetings involving a variety of internal and external stakeholder groups
- Demonstrated ability to compose business correspondence and reports
