Database Solutions Architect

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Database Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Data & AI team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing database solutions that leverage Amazon Web Services (AWS) data and AI services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with customers and internal teams to understand their database needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
- Design and implement database architectures that optimize performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our solutions.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing distributed applications.
- 5+ years of experience in managing technical, customer-facing resources.
- 5+ years of experience with database technologies, including design, optimization, migration, and integration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT management, and developers.
- Experience working within software development or internet-related industries.
