Job Title: Auto Body Damage Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Damage Estimator to join our team at BODO MOTORS. As an Auto Body Damage Estimator, you will be responsible for estimating repair costs based on damage examination reports, inspecting repaired vehicles, and planning repair work to be performed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Plan repair work to be performed, including replacement of front end components, body components, and underbody components
  • Clean and maintain work space to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces to ensure a high-quality finish
  • Repair or replace interior components, including windows, windshields, and sunroofs
  • Mix paint, blend, and match colors to ensure a perfect match
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
Requirements:
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling
