We are currently looking for a Desktop Support Technician - Citrix to provide technical assistance and maintenance for equipment in various locations.
The Desktop Support Technician plays a crucial role in delivering advanced technical support and upkeep for hardware and software systems. This position entails troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining technology components while ensuring outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in desktop support, device imaging, and configuration, alongside experience in inventory management and network connectivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and enhance hardware and software components at diverse locations.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on technological equipment.
- Identify and resolve product performance issues and various error conditions.
- Provide technical support and manage incidents effectively.
- Oversee inventory and comply with device disposal protocols.
- Document installation and repair processes thoroughly.
- Educate clients on proper equipment usage.
- Maintain tools and equipment utilized during service engagements.
- Act as a liaison with clients regarding administrative and technical inquiries.
- At least two years of experience in desktop support within a corporate setting.
- Proficiency in device imaging and configuration.
- Familiarity with inventory management and device disposal practices.
- Understanding of network connectivity and desktop operating system administration.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Reliable transportation for local client visits.
- Flexibility in support coverage.
- A+ certification
- Associates/BSIT, ITIL, MCP, MCDST, Network+ & Server+ certifications are advantageous.
