Position Overview

Burgess Plumbing Heating & Electrical Co. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Journeyman/Woman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in plumbing installation and maintenance, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in plumbing or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in the plumbing industry.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install plumbing fixtures and systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to establish plumbing system layouts, including water supply and drainage networks.
  • Identify and mark locations for pipe connections and fixtures in various structures.
  • Prepare openings in walls and floors for pipe installation.
  • Assemble pipes using various methods including soldering, welding, and using fittings.
  • Conduct leak tests on installed systems using pressure gauges.
  • Estimate material requirements and project costs accurately.
  • Measure, cut, and shape pipes to meet specifications.
Safety and Compliance
  • Must pass a criminal record check.
  • Must complete a drug screening.
