The private residence for seniors le St-Augustin is seeking a part-time evening caregiver to fill a position of beneficiary attendant LOI 90. This role offers a competitive evening premium of $1 and responsibility premium.

Requirements:
  • DEP beneficiary attendant or RAC certificate
  • 5000 hours accumulated over the last 5 years in the position of PAB + RCR 16H up to date + PDSB completed
Job Description:

Schedule: A 4/14 evening position from 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. with one weekend out of 2

Role and General Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies
  • Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
  • Answering call bells
  • Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
  • Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
  • In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity
  • Proactively assist and support the residents
  • Respond to all emergency situations
  • While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse
