Your Responsibilities:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of Ecolab products, plant operations, customer business goals, and relevant regulations
  • Prepare and present sales pitches on Ecolab's innovative products, equipment, and services
  • Provide industry insights to clients regarding sanitation, safety, quality, and operations; assist with sanitation plans, standard operating procedures, process evaluations, operational efficiencies, and employee training
  • Create strategic work plans for conducting sales and service consultations with both new and existing clients
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of plant personnel; cultivate strong business relationships and networks
  • Oversee Ecolab products and equipment; engage in equipment installations, assess and test equipment performance, make repairs or adjustments, regulate chemical concentrations, monitor product inventory, and place orders

Position Overview:

  • This role will support various locations within the designated territory
  • Overnight travel may be required on a limited basis

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent post-secondary diploma
  • Two years of experience in a food, beverage, or dairy processing/manufacturing setting OR two years of experience in technical sales within manufacturing environments
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Willingness to work flexible hours (average: 1-3 overnight trips per week)
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory
  • Willingness to travel to the US for training and meetings
  • No immigration sponsorship is available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in dairy, food or agricultural science, engineering, chemistry, biology, or a related field
  • General mechanical aptitude
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • A strong desire to excel in a competitive environment
  • Proactive and capable of working independently
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccination may be required based on client site protocols
