Crisis and Assessment Clinician

We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as a Crisis and Assessment Clinician. As a key member of our Child and Youth Mental Health team, you will provide clinical assessments and interventions for children, youth, and their families who are dealing with mental health or family functioning challenges.
About the Role- Provide clinical assessments and interventions for children, youth, and their families.
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) with relevant experience and current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Preferred educational background of a Master of Social Work (MSW) or Master of Arts in Counseling with five years of relevant clinical experience.
- Training and experience in mental health crisis and risk assessment, attachment and child development theories, child and youth mental health issues, the Mental Health Act, and PHIPPA.
- Demonstrated abilities in sound judgment, critical thinking skills, risk assessment and response, and provision of clinical support.
