Tire Technician

At Alaska Way Carrier Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Tire Repairer to join our team. As a Tire Repairer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vehicles by performing tire repairs and replacements.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform tire repairs and replacements on a variety of vehicles, including automobiles, trucks, and heavy equipment.
- Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed to ensure the smooth operation of our fleet.
- Change engine oil and lubricate running gears or moving parts of vehicles to maintain their optimal condition.
- Grease booms, pulleys, buckets, and other components of heavy equipment to prevent wear and tear.
- Install replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, shock absorbers, or radiators as needed.
- Repair and balance tires to ensure safe and efficient vehicle operation.
- Replace oil, air, and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment to maintain their performance.
- Manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Will train individuals who are eager to learn and develop their skills.
