About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical professional with a background in data science, intelligence, and analytics to join our Electric Vehicle team at Element Fleet Management. As the Lead, Electric Vehicle Data Strategist, you will play a critical role in delivering value to clients and ensuring an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop client insights based on a variety of vehicle, charger, and energy data to support product development and drive business growth.
  • Develop a catalog of internal and external Electric Vehicle data sources to support the analysis and insights needed to effectively decarbonize our clients' fleets and develop new products and services.
  • Stand up foundational data architecture to support the development of new Electric Vehicle, energy management, and decarbonization products and services, supporting operational execution and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate data sources for relevancy and accuracy to ensure credibility of any insights or products being launched.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure that data is consistent across use cases and support the development of new data and processing solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, data science, business statistics or related degree.
  • 3-5+ years of relevant work experience in data science/analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience working in SQL, Python.
  • Ability to work in R is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a business environment characterized by complexity, ambiguity, and rapid change.
  • Proven work record to effectively plan, manage, and execute complex business situations ensuring all stakeholders and direct/indirect team members are knowledgeable and driving towards results.
  • Ability to self-manage workload, manage prioritization, and provide appropriate updates/engagement with leaders.
  • Management consulting experience a plus.
