Job Title: Plumbing Specialist

At Sky High Plumbing and Heating Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for plumbing projects.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Schedule personnel, tools, and equipment for plumbing projects.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Supervise other workers on plumbing projects.
  • Estimate costs and materials for plumbing projects.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in plumbing.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Punjabi language skills.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, wet/damp environments, and various locations.
  • Physically demanding work requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, hand-eye coordination, and handling heavy loads.
Working Conditions:
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language.
