Job Title: General Duty Laboratory Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented General Duty Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Shared Health. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing clinical analysis and reporting on patient samples, as well as assisting with general lab projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform clinical analysis and reporting on patient samples according to established protocols
  • Assist with general lab projects, such as SOPs and chemical inventories
  • Maintain a safe environment in accordance with professional and provincial guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance programs and maintain standards put forth by Accreditation
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology program
  • Current registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Manitoba (CMLTM) required
  • Previous related experience preferred
Working Conditions:
  • Working shifts, weekends, and holidays may be required
  • Participating in standby and callback duty may be required
  • Rotate through various workstations as required
