Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Résidence des Bâtisseurs - Rivière-du-Loup. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture.
  • Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closets.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, as well as elevators.
  • Handle and report lost and found items, and attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Provide basic information on facilities and amenities to guests.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Clean changing rooms and showers.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically demanding role requiring handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and values and ethics.
