Job Summary

The University of Ottawa is seeking a qualified instructor to teach painting and contemporary art. The successful candidate will have a strong background in visual arts and experience in teaching at the post-secondary level.

Responsibilities

  • Teach painting and contemporary art courses to students
  • Develop and implement curriculum for painting and contemporary art courses
  • Assess student work and provide feedback
  • Contribute to the development of the University of Ottawa's visual arts program

Requirements

  • Master of Fine Arts or equivalent
  • Established reputation and exhibition record in painting, contemporary art, installation, and interdisciplinary art
  • Experience in teaching at the post-secondary level
