Our operations are situated in a remote area, and we are looking for a qualified Gasfitter to join our Site Maintenance team. This role offers a competitive base wage and operates on a Fly In, Fly Out schedule, working two weeks on and two weeks off.
Role Overview
The Certified Gasfitter Technician will play a crucial role in supporting the Site Maintenance & Services department by executing various maintenance tasks throughout the site and in the accommodation facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Uphold and adhere to all Safety Policies and Procedures diligently.
- Conduct maintenance and preventative maintenance on production, service, and support equipment.
- Strive for continuous improvement in operations, reducing repair times and optimizing work processes.
- Utilize computer systems to manage work orders, parts lists, equipment data, and troubleshooting feedback.
- Mentor and train apprentices in the field.
- Assist with additional maintenance tasks as necessary.
- Input timesheets, material details, and work orders electronically using SAP.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.
- Experience with blueprints and construction estimating is preferred.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile
- Active interprovincial Red Seal Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Ticket with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Valid Skilled trades Gasfitter Certification – Class B or Class A.
- Proficient in installing, troubleshooting, and overhauling heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and prepare work estimates and inspection sheets.
- Experience with dust collection systems is advantageous.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Experience in servicing commercial kitchen equipment is a plus.
- Certificates in overhead crane operation, Aerial Work Platform, and rigging are beneficial.
- Familiarity with working in a remote camp environment.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
