Job Title: Speech Pathology Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Pathology Therapy Assistant to join our team at St. Paul Education. As a key member of our Inclusive Education team, you will provide effective Speech and Language Therapy services to students in our schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide universal, targeted, and individualized support and services under the direction of the Speech Language Pathologist
  • Collaborate with other members of the Inclusive Education Student Supports team
  • Administer screening protocols, including hearing screenings selected by the supervising SLP
  • Facilitate small group and individual services to students in schools

Requirements:

  • Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program
  • Knowledge of speech and language milestones for children
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of documentation procedures and proficiency with technology
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience working as a multi-disciplinary therapy assistant is an asset
