We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Polar Exterior Inc. as a key member of our construction team.
Key Responsibilities- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials to ensure high-quality construction.
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware to meet client specifications.
- Supervise and lead a team of workers to ensure efficient project completion.
- Collaborate with project managers to plan and coordinate construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Ability to work in various locations and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment.
