Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Professional to join our team at 1955753 Alberta Inc. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and tax laws.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as manage benefits and other employee-related expenses.
  • Asset Management: Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, and ensure accurate tracking of company assets.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week. Public transportation is available. The work environment is fast-paced, and the ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
