About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Supervisor to join our team at Happy Wonders Childcare. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality care and education for our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Assess the children's development to prepare a learning plan tailored to their needs.
  • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in early childhood education.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations and ability to work in a child care centre setting.
