Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Millwright to join our team at Canfor's Fox Creek sawmill in Fox Creek, AB. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mill's machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on all mill machinery and equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- Install, repair, and modify equipment as needed
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure efficient and safe operation of the mill
- Assist in maintaining a safe work environment for coworkers, customers, and visitors
Requirements:
- Red Seal Certification in Millwrighting (an asset but not required)
- Physical capability to lift objects weighing up to 50lbs
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of the lumber or industrial manufacturing process (an asset)
