Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Dollarama. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, including apprentices, sales workers, and design team members.
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities.
- Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that products are displayed attractively.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, including tasks such as receiving and processing shipments.
As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment, often under pressure to meet sales targets and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. You will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform other physical tasks as needed.
Requirements:- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail environment.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- Organized and reliable, with a strong attention to detail.
