About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Maximum Home Support Services Inc. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, such as managing medication, scheduling appointments, and maintaining client records.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Certifications: A Certificate of Conduct is required.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Work Schedule: This is a casual position, with a variable schedule of 2-40 hours per week.
Working Conditions

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes. You will be required to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and perform tasks that involve a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will also be required to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
