Job Summary

GARRY MECHANICAL INC. is seeking a skilled Gas Technician to join our team. As a Gas Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining gas heating units and their components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and service gas heating units and their components
  • Install and maintain meters and regulators and gas lines between gas unit and gas meter
  • Repair and service gas appliances and related equipment
  • Advise clients regarding standards, safety features, and maintenance of gas units and systems
  • Test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices
Requirements
  • Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 2 or B
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
  • Physical capabilities: bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
